This weekend’s Hacking Chocolate, A Tasty Science Event experiments with chocolate and makes food more fun than you might have imagined possible – including a chocolate-powered rocket engine.

Oscar Night, Kimo Style

Yes, it’s time for the officially Academy-sanctioned Annual Oscar Party at the historic Kimo Theatre Downtown. Sunday’s Red Carpet / Black Tie event will benefit Friends for the Library. Red Carpet begins at 5:30 with complimentary hors’ douvres, gift bags, silent auction and more.
