Duke City Marathon

Today is the deadline to register for Sunday’s  Duke City Marathon, which will also include a marathon relay, half marathon, walks from 20k to 5k, and the miracle mile. You must register online today, and late fees will apply. A health expo is also planned at the ABQ Convention Center (9AM – 6PM). A post-race festival is slated for Sunday at the Downtown Civic Plaza (8AM – 2PM) and will include live entertainment, awards ceremonies, vendors, exhibits and breakfast served up by Blake’s Lotaburger.

New Mexico Symphonic Chorus and Orchestra: Mozart’s Requiem

The NM Symphonic Chorus’s inaugural performance of the season takes place this Sunday at the National Hispanic Cultural Center with the ever-popular Mozart’s Requiem. One performance only, 3 PM, with tickets ranging from $18-$60. Purchase tickets and find out more information on the center’s website.

 

 

 

 

 

4th Annual Albuquerque Hopfest

What better way to enjoy a Saturday than hanging out with 125 beers, 40 breweries, 9 bands on 3 stages and a whole lot of brew fans? Your chance is this weekend at the Albuquerque Hopfest hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, now in its fourth year of celebrating all things brew. And it’s all for a great cause. You can download the program and map ahead of time and purchase tickets ($10-$35) online.
