Here’s to A No-Labor Labor Day Weekend!

It’s Labor Day Weekend (where did the summer go?), and we’re aiming to do as little labor as possible. Here’s our favorite picks for playing this weekend:

24th Annual Wine Festival

For 24 years, New Mexicans have been trekking to Bernalillo to sample some of the best wines grown right here in our state. This year is no exception, with three days of festivities from 12-7 PM beginning Saturday, September 3 through Monday, September 5. You can check out all the details on their website, but be forewarned you’ll be blasted with music the minute you’re there. The off button is in the top right corner. $31 (3-day pass) – $5. Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

What better way to celebrate the waning days of summer than opening weekend of Albuquerque Little Theater’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Performances run through September 18. This weekend’s performances are slated for Friday, 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday, 2 PM. $10-12.
