13th Annual Tap Dance Jam
The University of New Mexico’s Keller Hall will be pounding tonight with the rhythm and percussion during the 13th Annual Tap Dance Jam. If you enjoy tap, this promises to be an exciting night with professionals, National Dance Institute of New Mexico performers and local studios all coming together for an evening of percussive dance.

Who knew we were hosting a national championship this weekend in our own backyard? Just a short drive east of Albuquerque, Wildlife West is hosting just that – a blacksmith and horseshoeing national championship. What a great way to explore an ancient craft as well as enjoy a day at Wildlife West. Forty blacksmiths from across the U.S. are expected to participate with horse training workshops, demonstrations, and even an old-fashioned pie contest.

Blues at the Blueseum RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE 26
You probably won’t find a cheaper way for your family to enjoy an afternoon of live blues music, food and fun. This Sunday, the Balloon Museum is hosting the Blues at the Blueseum featuring several local bands performing outdoors. Bring your own cooler and blanket or lawn chairs or purchase food and drink onsite. (Coolers will be searched for alcohol and glass containers, which are not allowed.)
