Dancing, Biking and Racing – oh, my!

First Annual Dancing Stars Gala

If you like Dancing With the Stars, you’ll love tonight’s gala event to benefit the New Mexico Alzheimer’s Association.

Hosted at the Embassy Suites Hotel Albuquerque, beginning at 7 PM  and continuing until 12 PM, the gala includes a silent auction, dinner, and dance competition followed by live music and dancing. Local celebrities have been turned into dancing stars. Come join the fun and help a great cause.

Racing Southwest Puts a New Spin on a Sunday Drive

This is definitely not your usual Sunday drive. Racing Southwest’s Jemez/Valles Cruise kicks off a 70- mile trek at 10:30 AM with a scheduled lunch in Jemez Springs and a tour of Valles Caldera. To join the group, meet up in the Santa Ana Northwest overflow parking lot.

BikeABQ Annual Bike Swap

Ok, not tomorrow but next Saturday, April 16, BikeABQ and Sport Systems will host the annual Bike Swap at Sport Systems from 10 AM – 4 PM. If you’re planning to sell an item, check-ins are April 14 and 15 from 10 AM – 7 PM and $1 will be charged for each item with 18% of the sale price going to the nonprofit; if you’re coming from out of town, you will be allowed to check in items Saturday morning. Volunteers are also needed, so check out the list of needed helpers should you want to lend a hand and get first crack at items in the swap – along with some other perks as well. Check the website for full details.
10 AM – 4 PM
