Time Change, Spring Break
You’ll lose an hour on Sunday when we set our clocks forward, but at least some of you will get to ease into waking up an hour earlier since APS, UNM, CNM, and most private schools begin Spring Break on Monday. If you’re looking for things to keep the kids occupied over the break, we recommend:
Spring Wildlife Safari at the ABQ BioPark Zoo takes place on Tuesday 10AM – 3:30PM with tours, games and activities. Kids’ camps are also available during the week; check the website for full details. You can find hours, phone numbers and maps in our app’s Attractions as well. $15/child, $50/all 4 camps.
Spring Break Family Day at the Balloon Museum on Wednesday 10AM – 3PM. Bring a picnic lunch, fly a kite, get up close and personal with an inflated hot air balloon and catch live entertainment throughout the day. Events free with paid entry. Find more details for the museum in our app’s Museums section. ($1-$3/person).
More camps and activities can be found on local blogger Aileen O’Catherine’s website.
