Reading has gone to the dogs at CABQ Libraries

Thanks to several local therapy dog programs, reading really has gone to the dogs at several Albuquerque public libraries.  With a unique approach to building literacy skills and reading confidence, the partnership allows children to practice reading aloud to registered therapy dogs.  The program takes place tonight at the South Broadway library from 4-5PM and later in the week at the East Mountain, Cherry Hills, and Juan Tabo branches along with the Lomas Tramway Community Meeting Room.  Times and dates vary per location so visit the main calendar for library events for more details.
