NMSO Plays in Memory of Kurt and Edith Kubie


New Mexico Symphony Orchestra

This weekend, New Mexico Symphony Orchestra performs Dvořák & Gershwin in memory of Kurt and Edith Kubie, founders of Kurt’s Camera Corral, long an icon along Albuquerque’s Route 66.

Norman Krieger, Guest PianistThree performances, Friday (8 PM) and Saturday (6 PM) at Popejoy Hall and Sunday (2 PM) at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, will bring life to some of the most popular American works when pianist Norman Krieger tickles the ivories as conductor Guillermo Figueroa conducts New Mexico’s premiere orchestra.  Free pre-concert lecture one hour before each performance.
