Looking for something affordable to do with the family tonight? It doesn’t get any cheaper than this: the City of Albuquerque‘s 5 indoor pools offer $.25 Friday night admission ($.50 for the West Mesa Aquatic Center).  It may be cold outside, but this is a great way to have some family fun without breaking the post-holiday piggy bank.

The center’s indoor recreation pool has a massive water slide with beach-like zero-slope design. It is handicap accessible and great for birthday parties.

Los Altos Pool

Located near a skate park, the Los Altos was originally built in the 1950’s as an outdoor pool which has since been converted as an indoor pool.  The main pool’s length is 25 meters.
